Called To Kenya

As you may know, for the last 2 summer’s God has given me the opportunity to travel to western Kenya to serve orphans and widows and I fell in love with all God is doing there. I must say I left everything in Kenya; my clothes, my shoes, and my heart. I ask God how He might have me continue to be a part of His work at Tumaini. His Answer, “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven. Then come, follow me.” Mark 10:21. Over the last few years God has been gently tugging on my heart to take a BIG STEP OF FAITH to come follow Him by serving an extended amount of time in Kenya. Our God is so faithful and He has provided in countless ways for me to return to Tumaini Miles of Smiles orphanage... This time for an extended stay of 18 months. So in June, I will be walking away from the security of a full time salary job that I love and stepping out in faith to follow the heart of Jesus. His provision in itself is a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness to those who seek to know the plans He has for them.
